John Doepper DC
Dr. Doepper is Director of Capitol Rehab of Winchester & co-founder of Capitol Rehab Management. He completed his undergraduate work at University of North Texas and received his Doctorate from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas.
He has successfully treated spinal injuries such as disc protrusions, sprain/strains, sciatic and other forms of radiculitis. He has also applied his understanding of human biomechanics to treat extremity conditions such as carpal tunnel, double crush syndrome, patello-femoral syndrome, patellar tendonitis, achilles’ tendonitis and plantar fasciitis without the use of drugs or surgery.
He believes in the use of integrative medicine to treat on and off the job injuries and has developed a lecture series that focuses on the prevention of injuries. Dr. Doepper is trained in and implements Gonstead, Diversified and Thompson techniques in his practice
Chiropractor
Dan Hensler DC, MPH
Dr. Hensler joins Capitol Rehab of Winchester after nine years of successful private practice in northwest Pennsylvania. He completed his undergraduate work in biology at Waynesburg University and received his Doctorate from New York Chiropractic College.
Growing up in a military family, Dr. Hensler spent most of his childhood in Fairfax County Virginia before finishing high school in Anchorage, Alaska. An accomplished football player, he was an All-State selection twice in high school and earned multiple All-Conference awards at Waynesburg University. Dr. Hensler has experience treating a wide variety of injuries such as disc protrusions, extremity injuries, pregnancy related low back pain, sports injuries, and many more. He also works with auto accidents and work related injuries. In 2008 he received his certification from the Spine Research Institute of San Diego in whiplash and mild traumatic brain injury.
Dr. Hensler enjoys running, outdoor activities, and spending time with his wife and five children. Dr. Hensler is trained in and implements Diversified and Extremity techniques in practice.
Kinesiologist
Karie Wratchford BA, CPT
Karie received her Bachelor degree in Kinesiology from The College of William & Mary. She is an American College of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer and has decades of experience in sport science.
She enjoys helping patients feel better and is really good at explaining why you hurt and teaching you what you can do to make it better. Karie resides in Winchester with her family and enjoys hobby farming and livestocking, vintage automobiles, the arts, & the outdoors.
